(For those interested in reading my true Amazing Story contest winning entry, I have included the link below) Happy Birthday, Chad! Though you now live in an unseen dimension, you pierce the veil to be with us in our times of need, and to share in our times of joy. In some ways, your passing has brought you even closer... Note: I received notice yesterday that I won the Amazing Story Contest. It includes true accounts of visitations of my nephew who disappeared without a trace, along with 5 companions, March 17, 1995 in the icy waters of Lake Ontario. He is now with his sister, Kelly Marie. God bless them both. They will be forever missed... Q ~ Chad and I were unbelievably close. He enjoyed doing the same things I did and he was extraordinarily talented. He would win the top athelete awards of his schools, art awards, writing awards--he even came in second place in the provincial martial arts competitions in Toronto for his age group--after only 2 months of lessons! In baseball he'd win best player of the season and then best player in the playoffs. He had so many trophies! His heart was as big as Niagara Falls and he had a huge sunny smile to match it! He was as beautiful on the outside as he was on the inside. I miss him every day of my life. His brother is just as special and our bond is just as close. BluesSerenade ~ I'm sorry for your terrible loss as well. Years have a way of lessening the pain, but there is always a gray shadow that creeps across your heart when you least expect it. Linda, This was a very touching story and poem for me. Thank you for sharing it with us and the story was amazing! Congrats and Happy Birthday, Chad. Isn't it amazing how souls exist, and continue to make contact, you know, i'll confess as i know you won't laugh, but I have had countless contacts with my deceased cat Poppy. and she isn't even human! but heck, just as capable of still being around. It is such a comfort, and such an insight into things you never imagined could be true isn't it?
