so man created from the dust...
in America he'd often trust
in a famous garden he'd flourish
symbolic trees surrounded to nourish
it was all from a piece of flesh
world's progeny would lay enmeshed
procreate and spread the seed
thrust of motion to meet the need
in America we'd often trust
as the loser bites the dust...
and the victor's gene succeeds
to perform more flagrant deeds

Almost a triolet...

Well done, Sir.

(sigh) Hey Martin, it is wonderful to see you again, dearest friend, I just noticed your new screenname and hope to read more of your poetry soon, yay! (big hugggssssss) The whole proverb placed on America has ecome outdated sadly and it is ironic to me how it is a small world after all yet the truth is too big to share, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Hi Martin. Karilea is right...I really do like this. And, it is almost like a triolet. I like the way your wisdom is written into it, too.
