The Destruction of New York City

"I never saw him so worked up as toward the end of
the war, when in a kind of delirium he pictured for
himself and for us the destruction of New York in a
hurricane of fire.  He described the sky scrapers
being turned into gigantic burning torches,
collapsing upon one another, the glow of the
exploding city illuminating the dark sky."

November 18, 1947...

So march onward soldiers.
Fly high airmen of the sky.
Launch the planes,
drop the bombs,
fall black rain.
Bring forth the destruction
of the people, and their cities.
Release death, sorrow and pity.

The "quotes" are from Albert Speer's
book "Spandau, The Secret Diaries".
He shares the words spoken by Adolph
Hitler after American bombers dropped
bombs on German cities during World
War 2.  Fortunatly he had no long range
bombers that would reach New York...
However that didn't stop us from bombing
Berlin, Nurnberg, Hamburg and many other German
cities.  Also it never stopped the Japanese
from attacking Pearl Harbor as they launched
their planes from aircraft carriers.  Where
there's a will there's a way.

(big hugggsssssss) I do know Hitler had a desire to also attack America when he had the chance, and fortunately his plan was foiled and that horrible war ended! (sad sigh) It is hard to talk about any war but this is very well said, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Unfortunately, that is true, and too many have the will, what they consider legitimate reasons, and determination.
An interesting write, James.
