You pointed
And called it sin
Deceptions, lies, the truth twisted well
You condemned the actions and the man
To hell.

“My son is gone, killed
as he walked by the house.
He was a good man who prayed
For peace.”

“Surgical strikes today
eliminated a leader of the
radical movement. We will continue
our campaign against terrorist
and eliminate all threats.”

Now, stones cast
Break more than glass houses
And no one seems to care
If they are with or without sin
It all plays out to some
Terrible bitter end

Tell me God
Do you blink?

When there is a flash
And bodies strewn
From a bus
Or a home
Or place of worship?

Or do you simply gather
The loose pieces of the lost souls
And put them back together
With a pat on head
Send them back
To once more try?

I’ve wondered of late
If even you have not tired
Of the game

Blow them up
          Send them back
Again

Surgical strikes...
the blade, most red.

Hi again, I believe the shock of these happenings through us into an unrealistic shock and anger, and rightfully so...but my dear friend, God is not the culprit here, man is...Man and his quest for power, be it money, status or both.  God is there watching yes indeed, but...he is not to blame for all that is happening.

Until man realizes how much he effects the lives of others and the importance and value
of all things, the inter connection, and is able to go beyond his selfish desires....these things will happen, I'm afraid...but then, what do I know, just my thoughts, my dear poet....

You spark so much insight, and desire to share opinions, knowledge and emotions.  Great job!  Thank you I love your ability to do that

Feels that way doesn't it? Sometimes I ask...why do WE always have to be the white knight? Why do WE always get looked to so save the world? I thinks its about time to save ourselves and let the rest of the world look to itself. Great write

Sunshine... no more red, than any strike

Lee... read it again.. ( smiling) I do not blame God... for anything. Just wonder if he/she blinks and grows tired of the game as well...
My own belief or lack of in God only questions the cycles that are repeated and asks why?

Paula... white knight huh? we would disagree on this point I think, but it would be an opinion..yours..and mine that would not see eye to eye on the color of our horse. There is good in some of what we as a nation have done, bad in other parts of our actions, so it would be perspective we argued, not the idea that the situation is deplorable. I think on that we could agree.

Sy... save yourself and you begin to save a portion of the world perhaps. But is saving yourself an intangible act of understanding and compassion or an overt act of simply attacking? I have my own opinion, and I am sure you have one too.

Oh I'm so happy to read this, you had me worried...I knew you were more insightful then that...I think so to, that God is so darned tired of the game, and maybe he will soon vocalize that to all of us in someway?

In the meantime, anyone for some double choc. cake??????  Your all welcome to some if you'd like?  smiles and hugs

Nancy... don't delve too deep... it is dark inside those thoughts and one should enjoy the day...

thank you for stopping in.. always good to know you read my friend.

Lee... lol.. I am someplace in between where you seem to be and where you thought I was...

thanks for the offer of cake, but I'll have to pass this morning as I do not seem to have an appetite.

Cpat,
how like prayers are your questions

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Keth.. intentional on my part. My father was a minister..and I understood at an early age about prayers..and about how they sounded...

perhaps one day... I'll actually understand more about them.. lol

I came back to think again
that everything is in His time
and His time is not our time

what we may think is "forever"
is a blink
in His eyes...

so much went on in His week...

and yet, He counts the hairs
on our head...

I tell you nothing you do not know...
but I always appreciate the way
man interprets understanding...

thank you, yet again.

This is an insight that I'm sure many experience through these crises'.You've penned it well.
