Risk The Moon

Words that speak of me
while caught in pleasure of others
on pages blue, lingering here or even there,
maybe in mind, of another watching.

And I, wondering, just what those eyes
can really see, rainbows streaking
or whispers of colors faint, randomly selected
to sweeten the view, simply.

A gift? A smile?
No strings attached, just the pleasure
of inspiration, a moment spent
to "pick-me-up" in real and I,
I return the favor in thanks.

Nancy, Copperbell and Kelly, thank you for the read and response.

And Robert thank you for the kind words that preceded these.
