Seeping Past Poetic Lines

When I am at a loss,
I read of "Time Past, Rhyme Last
Brood Needs, Brood Read.
Mood" words missed
to cloak me in
"Past Time..."

I search my finds for the words that lift me up,
and smile at the remembrances of conversation
not seeking perfection, adding one plus one,
feeling the good of you from afar.

I wish for your thoughts to be upon me,
less words of choice,
my manners associating
their need of understanding,
always, remembering
that wearing of the green
and on that day, blue eyes
that did lay upon mine.
