My feet rest firmly on Earth
yet my soul dwells in purgatory
in eternal limbo.

I walk the streets
craving holistic salvation
finding only endless questions
and no answers.

Anguished
dirty
I stagger into Our Lady Of Placebo
24 confessional and wedding chapel
said "hail Mary" repetitiously
and went on my way.

I called to the manic doom prophets
hurling brimstone from the street corners
when I asked for answers
proclaimed me damned
and sent me away.

I've mediated on many a full moon
under Jade statures of Buddha
and as of yet
gleaned no enlightenment.

Tired I sit on a old park bench
feeding the pigeons
As the world speeds by
I find inner peace
in this fleeting moment of solitude
as my soul slowly finds
its way home.

Hi Brad...love it. I know this deep soul search. Been doing it all my life. Where is God...is there a God? I really don't know the answer to that one. Everyone tells me there is...and yet the only place I can find peace of mind is amongst the stars as I gaze through my telescope. Very well written poem sir. Glad I got a chance to read it.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

(sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I believe salvation can best be granted simply by keeping patient and still and watching the flying colors through the wind in a state of nirvana! (big hugggssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Brad, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
