i sat at the mountain for two days

waiting for the sun to set

but the sun stared at me, waiting,

hoping i'd soon forget.

a tousand years rolled by

a thousand years at 3

if the sun refuses to set

it might as well be me.

so i tip my head to apollo

and run as far as night

a thousand years of sun

the night just feels right

and i smile up to luna

it's face hidden by trees

look down at my watch

a quarter after three...
