How do you say goodbye,
When you never got to say hello?
How do you say I love you,
To ears that will never hear?
How can you hold someone,
When they are not really there?
What feelings can be shared,
When you are the only one who feels?
How can you bring someone back,
Who has been gone for awhile?
How do you stop the pain,
When it's all that you think of?
How do you learn to let go,
When it's the last thing you want to do?

Like a dove, I am now flying free

Very lovely, tender and touching write.  How?, You hold onto that person by honoring their memory, live your life so they would be proud of you.  I've been there.  Hugs.

Welcome to Passions!  What a moving poem but I like to think there is no such word as "good-bye", only "until we meet again."  I hope this holds true for you as well.

Welcome to Passions. This is so heartwrenching. It takes alot of time, strength, forgiveness, heart, and understanding. It does get better. You keep them alive by remembering, you say not goodbye, but see you soon, you let go opf the hurt by forgiving, and knowing that in Gods hands your child is safe from all. Many healing hugs to you.
