Wishing through time
Searching for the just right rhyme
Leavening losing bubbles and steam
Skittering thoughts salient seams
Wrestled with life faltering strife
Rending the fabric of soul
Careening away darkness cried out
Severed streams of thoughts and sighs
Shallow wishing and deepened swishing
Of lightened loads or croaking toads
Not me cried out and ducked the sigh
Words calling running saying “mine”
No matter where I looked it seems
The succulent dreams of love careened
And held us sway with life’s closed yes
Held each one near held oh so near
Don’t bother clouds we need no shroud
So time ran by and called a rhyme
Toppling thoughts claimed all there was
Sometime, we will hold all the thoughts

Paul,  life may not be a bowl of cherries
24/7...but maybe we get our fair share.

Lots of reflection and hope within this
poem.  Nicely done.

Golly, I'm not sure I want to hold all of 'em.... some right now that I'd like to get rid of! How about holding 99% of the thoughts and sort-of letting the rest slide....?

i always know that i could learn something valuable from your words, but i think maybe it's somethings valuable that i should be looking for....always a pleasure

i think that it's brainless to assume that making changes to your window's view will gain a new perspective.
