Where?
o there
across the sill
there they are
in bend of field
ladened by the night sad song
dripping tears and sparkling
here I grow
like one of them
stubborn
scrawl of underneath
covered with her winter'd cloak.

tiny spindlings of me
tiny tiny grippings
need
I am color
in your eyes
on this page of fleece--
I spoke
a vision of the sun
I feel
here beneath the snow.

Karen~

Not sure why this hasn't received any responses yet...slackers...but I loved it.

they live,
even in just our shred of essence on this earth,
they live

...because we were sleeping
when you slipped
in the seed...

at least, that's my reply to Susan and I'm sticking to it!

What a lovely way to wake up, Karen...
to an early crocus bloom.
