This is from a couple of years ago.

I was all depressed last night
And the blues I had to fight
For yesterday was my birthday
Noone even called me to say hey
I told myself one year older
As the night got even colder
Today in the mail there was some cash
For the bank I made a quick dash
A sitter for the kids on Saturday
As to the city I make my way
To buy Christmas presents and things galore
Shopping and shopping from store to store
Looking at all of the wonderful things
To put underneath the Christmas tree
But as I shop throughout the mall
I have one reason that tops it all
A present for me will I buy
And feel the glimmer in my eyes
Pampering myself here and there
Taking off some of the wear and tare
Shopping, shopping I can't wait
Shopping, shopping don't be late
Who knows what treasure's I'll find
Maybe something to soothe my mind
He he he, I'm ready to go
Let's get driving down the road
For I hear the stores calling my name
Saying please, please come my way

Ever once in a while it's ok to treat yourself I think. I liked this ..it was like a fast moving paced walk on the sidewalks getting to and from in excitement. Let's go shopping!!!!

I love christmas shopping time. All the decorations, and the cheer in the city! Very nice.

After the mad dash to THE MALL. Take the kids to Grammie. Then go home turn the lights down low, turn on some soft music, light a few sweet smellin' candles, a warm bubble bath, lie down on the sofa, put your feet up.
