Listening to every heart

                                  Half moon in Orion

                                  Crystal air, arc of cloud
                                         beating back a norther,
                                  Flamenco colors
                                         of pink & orange,
                                  skylighting rays ~

                                  Magnifique strokes
                                         by His hand,

                                                   inviting me to stay.

Orion the Hunter. Mmm love this piece Sunshine. Each night when I get home at 12 AM I love to look up at the stars. Sometimes I drag out my telescope...sometimes the binoculars. Many of the poems I write come from those magic moments of one with creation. I think you captured what it is this amateur astronomer feels in his own heart very well. Thanks.

I'm sure your muse was quite amused and pleased with such a fine dedication!

You knew that I'd have to stop by with the words "moon" and "Orion" in the title--and it didn't hurt that it was written by the Sun!

Happy autumn!

An ode to a muse...Extoll her praises and she makes her presence known.  Now I know one of your secrets to writing so beautifully each time you pick up your pen.

You can't blame a poet for picking up a trick or two from a master, now can you?
