Landscape of Words

When I am deep in plaited privacy,
Free of the constrained murmur of ache,
I witness a stretch of emerald sea,
Above the earth, which mine eyes can't mistake.
Here in the morn the hallowed rays set down,
With fervent shafts that char my mortal gaze,
'Tis as if the dawn is seeking renown,
With teal's and green's that set the heart ablaze.
Here below through the brilliant conch shelled dome,
A butterfly wings o'er the open air,
It rides Heaven's rim...for it is its' home,
Captured on the canvas of my mute stare.
With cleverness mine eyes would paint this hush,
If only my mind could hold a paintbrush.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

I don't get here very often anymore. This is a nice way to come back again.

I adore the name you have chosen for yourself, and I think your mind CAN hold a paint brush.

Beautifully done

Dear John,
IF YOU'RE TIRED OF PRETENDING..
THEN WHY DID YOU GO BACK INTO HIDING?

Kevin:

My goodness . . .
you have painted here, m'friend
and a masterpiece at that
you hold in your hand
not a just brush . . .
but the entire palette . . .
(love the wings)
this is perfection
