Some days I get stuck
with my mind wandering
between cornfields
and the open seas.

and on others?

Even the Rockies mountain tops
aren’t high enough
to match my mood
or follow my flights
of fancy.

Today is one of those days.

Which one? I hear you ask,
but I have no time for replies
because the sparrows outside
are demanding more seeds
though I have no more to spare
but it’s OK
since it isn’t winter yet
they have plenty to choose from,
Mother Nature always provides.

So it's OK to sit here
and stare out the window
dreaming of nothing and everything
all at the same time.
For isn't that
the poetry
of Life?

dreaming of everything's nothing
is ok, too...

I'll let you

Goodness, to think of everything and nothing, was so cool in there! All of it was awesome, every line! Sincerely, Sauni.

the sparrows began this week to visit my feeders...along with the nuthatch, titmoice, chikadees, and the downeys... winter is not yet here, but they are indeed beginning their forage for more...

no time for replies... for the sparrows need more seed....

Very nice visual...

I don't pay attention to nature like I should...

Thanks for the reminder.
