Countless, those twigs so delicately placed.
One by one upon the fly and land of feathered
soar.

Each a pillar, a haven’s piece...
Each a bond of builder’s toils.

Formed by nature, by instinctive thought.
Born at birth, upon the shell’s break.
Given unselfishly to their mate.
Left, deserted upon their flight.

Listen carefully, that one might hear.
That one might feel the castle’s
strength.

Lift a hand, a gentle push....
For today the white dove
flies....to build again...

*Sigh* how gentle and pure are the words of this vision as they flow from your hand. How tender the thoughts that created such a sight for my vision eyes to see. I love the look and feel of this beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing your heartfelt thoughts with us Barry.

Shara, thanx...it very simply is about a
dove,  a nest,  an instinct that is born
within at birth....yet, at the same time
it is all about life...it's cycle...

Thanx for your comments...
