Saluting with misty eyes

hey all...
My 9 y/o daughter decided she was a poet like the old man and asked me to put this on here... Enjoy the next generation...

MOULDY MEAT
I went to the cafeteria
and slipped on some mouldy lunch meat
I didn't land on my feet
Where's my friend Devon
I think I'm in heaven
Because of all that mouldy lunch meat

Here's her cousin's work /pip/Forum82/HTML/001191.html

My goodness gracious!
That's so outrageous!

It made me giggle,
And tummy jiggle!

Thanks guys, to all who replied... the girls are both completely over the moon that they got a chance to see their writes on the internet, and that people responded to them. There are 2 little girls who are sleeping with smiles tonight.
BTW, I did get them both accounts, because they almost demanded one (lol ) and they immediately wrote 4 more each...
My daughter is stottbear94 and my niece is sportgirl94.
Thanks again.

Man, this sounds like the same cafeteria
we had when I was (way) back in grade school...

And that was so long ago, they didn’t even have a History class yet?

It sounds like the same lunch meat too...

Probably still left over from the 60’s!

A few bites, and you really did feel like you had just died!

Ahhh, school lunches...

You gotta love’em...

“Hey, what’s that?”

“Believe me, you don’t want to know...”

“!”

Hey, what do you want for 35 cents!

A Happy Meal?

“Mouldy Meat” huh?

Hey Bradly, your daughter’s a genius!

Sign her up, she’s adorable!

Richy
