Rock-a-bye Rhyme

I rock a cradle of Hitchcock rhyme
To wake upon some epoch time
A litany of wordy dower
Full of grace and flower power

I fetch it up from in my core
And dip into this well of store
To serve it up, in seeds of time
And let it peal in reads of chime

It floats a wreath on the water
Sails a while then sinks like mortar
As lovely as a flowered lei
Within your head a moments stay

It lives its life like all things do
Then disappears like I and you
It is a flower of a sort
It is a flower made of thought

So lay your lei a river bend
And let it float until the end.

And those moments?  The stuff poetry is made of.  Love this Sy.  And Good Morning!!

If I lay my lei here in my river's bend...
will your ocean shore be its destinations end?

Good morning, Mr. T. ~

A beautiful description of the perfect lei!

This is another fine example of your poetic talent. Perhaps you could edit your title "Rack" to "Rock"--if anyone were to search for this poem at a later date, it would be a shame if they couldn't find it.

Loveya, T-Man!
