Visiting Earth on a Guest Pass

Mona At The Library

It still crackles in your wavelength
where you passed the tables,
but the dusts that leapt in static haste
are looking for their spots to angle down.

A pencil stub sped under a desk as you passed.
It turned to watch, terror sharp in its linear eye.

You leave behind a something like the sound
of the big black magnet in the physics building.

Ed... now this..I like... you mix the real images in with those that are a less solid and require the other senses, without having to truly do a description of the whole..

lol... I'm not making any sense..

try again ron...
ok.. the real images in this are complimented by the ones you set up for the reader to imagine without describing them in detail.. and all are used to great effect in this piece to create the mood and deliver the overall image/feeling.....

good stuff... very good stuff

RascalLeader~
I SO enjoyed the way you did this one~
Loved using my imagination to color the character you sketched~

I could sit here applauding... hoping you'd hear... for my fingers might find better expression in clapping hands than tapping keys. *S*
Such vivid images... they will linger on my mind... even longer than dust motes linger in the air. *S*

Did I mention that I love it? *S*
