Satan Van

I drive a mini-van,
sad but true
It was a gift of divorce
what can you do?

Lately, I have noticed
it has a male point-of view
for nothing gives me more grief
no more trouble have I been put through

The satan van has a mind of it's own
it started with a bit of over heating
causing me some angst
so to the mechanic we went for a meeting

Soon I was to discover
the water pump was shot
the beginning of my trouble
for it just kept running hot

Next was a new radiator
and 20 plus flushes
for it seems my coolant had turned to sludge
the engine just couldn't take many more brushes

$2000 later and a leaking
intake manifold gasket
I am convinced
I need to find it a casket

Ok, so mine wasn't a van, and I'm not sure about the satan part, but I know for a fact it was possessed by something!

LOL! If your ex's name was Van, that would be the final insult, wouldn't it?

Thanks for the smile

ROTFLMAO! Susan, this is hilarious!

My Satan vehicle was a 4 wheel drive Chevy 3/4 ton diesel pickup. After forking over way too many dineros ($3000)in repairs in less than a year, it spun a main bearing,  shuddered and seizured and died on the side of the highway in Alaska.

ahahahahaha!!!
Susan, I just  KNEW  that you wouldn't be able to resist writing about it. I have had my share of satanically possessed vehicles, too, I tell you!! I'll have to write about some of the experiences I've had with my cars one day. LOL It really gets to be a pain when you have to put so much money into them.
Hugs to you, sweet friend,

"I am convinced
I need to find it a casket"

Well, Jimmy Hoffa was buried in his car, a little compressed of course.

Maybe you just need to talk to it and tell it that you two are in this together and it is time that it grew up and started acting like a big car.

Thanks for the laugh.

Out evil spirits! There the van has been purged of all devils. Okay...not really! I enjoyed this very much Susan. It reminds me of my old Thunderbird. I was crossing the country when I lost the gas tank in the middle of nowhere. I had to drive the car 50 miles dragging the darn thing. By the time I got there the car was on fire. Oh well...guess it is still burning down there in heck! LOL! I miss it though for some strange reason.

(giggles in delight) Oh Susan, forgive me, I can't help but laugh reading this as I truly feel for you but know too of these mechanical malignances, uggghhhhh! (smiles) Just toss that van overboard down by the river and see what that Saturday Night Live character Matt Foley thinks of it! (giggles) This is absolutely witty, sweet friend, you go girl, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
