So simple
we instantly message
the truth we meant
years ago
now that we
are not face to face
we can be honest

makes you wonder
if half a life ago?
if we could have been this close
while this far away
and let this
machine
disect
truth
lies
intent
or maybe just endings

instead we speak
encryptyed
over phone lines
with silly little smileys
winking sorry little smiles
as we say lol
at things that
do not make us
laugh

This is so true.Alot of times it's easier to say when not face to face.We should stand tall and be able to express our feelings no matter the outcome.
