Each street thumbs youth again ============================== now thats a cool line... so it this "Nostalgia passes under nostrils" aint that the truth too...how one scent can take you back to your childhood or a long put away memory. I love when that happends. Hey Mark... so good to read you today...I see youre still inpiring the forums to say more with less.... my muse is still long winded (when it finally shows) lol Well done poet sir. yes so very little words...short sweet to the point..and sometimes I wish my nose was stuffed up... If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |

Summoned memories invade my search for myself Yes they can invade, sometimes it's a good invasion, a reminder and sometimes a hinderance trying to hold on to the past..am i making sense? I'm slightly hung over |

Hi Janet Marie -- it's nice to hear from you again. Thank you for the kind words, and I look forward to your Muse's offerings once more, regardless of length. Thanks Eric. Loved your last poem! Kacy: Crystal: so true. The speed of memory recall/time travel through scent is dizzying -- must be direct-connect with primordial instincts... Nancy: Perfect...? How about continually evolving instead? Thanks for the smiles. Sy: ...I'm not sure what I did again, but I thank you for your support. Ceinwyn: ...but if your nose were stuffed up you'd miss the ambrosia of once upon a time... Raph -- perfect sense. Hey, here's an idea for you: how about writing a poem through the point of view of someone with a hangover? That could be VERY interesting... -MVS You CAN make a difference: |
