~*~

Drawn in waxen pause
Stillness fills in solitary cause
The fog of disbelieving all but what
A stationed heaving could so plainly put

Coated humid in sensations chill
Just a thread to pass the throat but will
Swallowed in a moment out of chime
Yet a sallow thinking…fainting time

Drawn in thicker dew
Swirling in the recessed hue
Moist the still remembering of how
Drawn in waxen pause the here and now

Has the flat line won another round?
Or is that the wind my cheek has found?

these are amazing lines:

Just a thread to pass the throat but will
Swallowed in a moment out of chime
Yet a sallow thinking…fainting time

I , too adore this entire stanza

Coated humid in sensations chill
Just a thread to pass the throat but will
Swallowed in a moment out of chime
Yet a sallow thinking…fainting time

Kathleen,

This is wonderful...your images are spectacular.  Yes, I know this and often pray for the wind to touch my cheek if only for one moment bleak.

Just lovely.
