dots and dashes and double ii's
see how they run off
with good intentions,

mistaken identity, starcrossed mail,
return to sender never came
dead letters that sink,
beneath a questioning heart,

fluttering in bottled messages
that babyblues never saw,
misunderstandings, ramblings never heard,

the gypsies told me never to love an aries boy,
crackerjack advice, i fall back into traps anyhow,

weavings, webs of words,
couldn't you just intuit
that the butterfly brushing your shoulder
was little old me?

sweep the sky,
look before you
and watch them flourish in the green of july,
they come full circle,

winter weathered they lock arms now,
and become covered bridges,
they embrace again and forget
the bonechilling cold that kept them apart,

tangled, entwined, they keep warm beneath,
they know, they just do,
without being analyized, trivialized, scrutinized,
by windowless eyes,

tho they will catch catasrophies again
from a stonecold sky,

do you think that can defeat them?

they keep the faith
do you?
or do you just see them as pieces of wood,

for whom do you think they endure such anguish?

Uh huh... that just stuck out for me...

You have such a charming smile ... of course every aries boy will melt (and not only aries!!)... but then you unveil true power of personality in your great poems. Fantastic combination, poetess.
Love and hugs. Margherita
