on the open road with the wind blowing in my hair

you can be my butterfly
and show me the beauty
of all that i am in
i will watch you and grin
i will sit patiently
waiting for my own cocoon
to break and let me out
so that i can match you
in all your colorful splendor
please wait for me
because i am coming
and i won't let you down
