Listening to every heart

Searching for the Plane…..

In the shadow of purple summer's night
I sense your touch, feel breath light,
thus comes to me calming memory,
a love I hold so dear, closely…

it was a night, such as this
when I held fast to your last kiss
stroked your brow, held your hand
and felt my heart in pain expand…

this space so void, this chasm so black
only in memory do I have you back,
two crystal goblets of wine I pour,
to drink to your memory ever more…

and as I taste this wine, bitter sweet,
night's summer warmness is replete
gently into its blackness I fall
as I search for you in crimson pall

for although your body is not near mine
I feel you there … through space and time,
there, on a plane, an unknown mystery
where your love I long to hold to me…

this life's long pursuit to not be denied
to re-kindle love, again be entwined
I will search, tho tears make eyes blind
there, on a plane, transparent as time

Just beautiful K...in every way.

I love this ghostly love of whom you write.
But...
Forgive me today as I pray
for love it seems quite faraway.
I don't think I shall again land
in this foreign faraway land.

Love and Hugs,
Patricia

Karilea...I think if you stop searching so hard and just let go, you will open yourself up to this other plane more easily.  The longing in this poem touches me.

Definitely a library one for me. *S* This is hauntingly beautiful... with an ache that seems so familiar. *S*
