walk this maze with me,

i dare the athiests,
me among them,
humbled below her gaze -

tell me -
if she is not the creator,
then how?

september is a swan song,
an autumn melody of a
beaming sun wrapping
the shivering trees,

my feet, muddy and deep
in earth's fall covers,
sweep the ground she blessed,

and heaven is a field
drenched in eternity,
filling a once barren heart,

come the harvest moon tonight,

exquisite and stark,
breathless seduction,

life and death lure me
in this holy field
where corn was conceived and born

Beautiful Michele....simply beautiful.
And yes, the moon is spectacular tonight.

I see your gypsy soul . . .
God I adore this Michele

my feet, muddy and deep
in earth's bare cover
sweeping the ground she blessed,

Beautiful song . . .

The "Harvest Moon" inspired me to write, too.

Truly a breath taking sight ...!

Great read here, Lady.
