nicely

dinner is served

I ate mine
you and she
were captivated
with each other

leftovers
were packed to take
home
all said and done
I’d rather eat alone

Can't say I blame you there... I think I might have considered alternatives other than doggie bags... maybe leftovers dumped in her hair... just to shake that captivation a bit??? LOL

Eating alone is definitely preferable... some dinners are meant to be skipped altogether. *S*
