The peaceful feeling of a country walk
as we stroll hand in hand along the road
With colors of Autumn all around us
the leaves of orange, reds, browns, and bright gold

The sounds of nature softly we hear
as birds their song gleefully sings
The crickets and frogs and a rustle of leaves
or the sound of a butterfly wings

Every now and then along our walk
we see a glimpse of a deer
Or a little rabbit hurrying along
or a squirrel in a tree we hear

These walks through nature we love to take
with trees along the road on each side
Help us to clear our heads from the rush of life
as we slow down from our day to day ride

Oh, the peaceful feeling of a country walk
as we stroll hand in hand along the road
With colors of Autumn all around us

Ah Ethel..this is just wonderful...so serene.
If I didn't just come back from a vacation in the woods..
you'd have me packing my bags to go again.
But, I think I shall hang around here awhile..
and await the arival of the Autumn colours here.

(smiles) Oh Ethel, almost every Thanksgiving, me and my family go out to visit our grandparents in Missouri, and the one rhing that always brings a smile to my heart is after lunch or dinner they take us on walks out in the countryside with all the beautiful amber and gold trees and we have long talks while we adore the nature around us! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is so beautifully serene, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!
