Someone whispered my name
but I was too caught up in
worrying about this
and fretting about that
to really hear the words.

Someone whispered my name
but it was too much like
the annoying buzz of a mosquito
so I just casually
brushed it away.

Someone whispered my name
but there was always someone else
someone elses' problem
someone else who needed my attention
someone else more demanding.

Someone whispered my name
but I've forgotten how to listen
I've forgotten what it means
I've forgotten what it's like to hear
someone whisper my name.

It's so easy to get caught up in the cares of the day, and then days go in to weeks, and weeks in to months. Before you know it you got lost in it, and find you need replenishing. I think there are alot of us that can relate to this. It's a good thing to reach out for things that give back to you. We *all* deserve it!!

Sometimes love whispers
and we must listen carefully...
it carries our name on the wind.
Beautiful write Paula.

"p-a-u-l-a", the time has come for you to listen when your name is whispered. It is those who shout your name in a loud, demanding voice that you should turn a deaf ear to...

This was a well-written and moving piece of writing, dear p-a-u-l-a.....

Paula, this can certainly happen if we let it.
We need to listen more carefully, don't we?
Very good write.

Paula...welcome home!  So good to read you again.  You must get in tune, dear, so you can hear them say, "Paula is back, Paula is back...!"
