where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2003-08-05 12:54 PM

For years,
I've known.

Blessed moments,
I've grown.

You like it when I say,
everything's going to be okay..
You find joy when I
utter
silent fine threads of
comfort.

But what have you done for me?

Afterall,
I have been there..
Thick and thin,
out
and
in.

Found the eclipse, this summer
day enraptures in it..

little half-circles
under the trees.

Afternoon stars,
we learn the constellations.

He trusted in me, so
why can't you?

Hover 'round my orion,
tighten the belt and
suffocate the meaning behind
the astrological
sign
that dives..
in
and
out..

like the thread of my words
sewn on the jeans we wore.

Ah, this is lovely, my friend, and full of yearning.  I appreciated the summer images, and the feelings that I had when reading...well done!  ~S~

"For years,
I've known."

Oh yes, in our heart we almost always know but choose to ignore in hopes that we will be wrong...sigh...I haven't been wrong yet..

Kaoru, you write so beautifully.  I have gotten in the habit of scanning the blue pages for your name..hoping..

Yeah, I know this one. It isn't much fun, but I seem to do it over and over again....

I don't reply to all your poems, but I DO read all the ones that I see, and I never regret it.
