nautical lawns....a season of shells ......tapping toes tickle ivory sands......pretty pictures.... long stemmed rose in vase...decoupage.....mixed bag.... a baker's dozen.....pocket full of rhymes......stacking shelves....love cut too short.....everclear.... starcrossed long distance love affair....candlelight bright....mourning the missing moon this night....whispers of light.....incandescent incantations...blowing softly these silent wishes...

come back to me flowerboy,
can i woo you home again?
lay down your demons
rest your fears on me,
my heart beats estatic
with buried treaures of you,

scattered sentences.....stolen kisses....cherished moment......never to own it...silhouettes in bronze lockets..carved hearts on benches.... stitches of gold... caligraphy penned letters....sonnets in bottles....patchwork collages....laminations of love lamentations..... clutter and cobwebs....piles of dust and aspirations........

all just remnants cast ashore,
souveniers and trinkets,
they are only facsimiles
nothing here soothes us for long,

reaching and longing,
for dreams that
can't be,

we can leave now,

let me take your sweet hand,

be my jesus,
i will be your messiah,

let us part the sea,

come home with me,

finally free,
let us heal and be whole again

Michele, I love the way you write just
as you see it...and you see it beautifully, lady.

Why dont you leave the flowerboy along and let the thoughts dry up and fade away. Its nothing more than an pleasant fantasy turned into an unpleasant reality. The write is good but misdirected my dear.
