standing on a shadow's lace

Words

there is an echo
in the words
that loop us together
they are not
weighted chains
at times confusion
runs high stretching
solid things apart
in a separation
links can not
be broken
strength shows
this metal
does not mock
yet weather safe
and agelessly
connected
