Meadows Of Beckon
~*Marge Tindal*~
~*~
In meadows of beckon
where the lay-me-down plays
I leisurely loll under billowing clouds
not a care in the world do I recognize
as I filter thoughts from a faraway maze
Counting the pleasures that grow my heart
I know the sereneness of today's happiness
~*~
In meadows of beckon
where the lay-me-down plays
I finger the grasses in total amaze
Knowing pure rapture of nature serene
playing the enlightened poetic meadow of me
Treasuring each moment in the way I know how
penning sweet thoughts from those billowing clouds
~*~
In meadows of beckon
where the lay-me-down plays
I leisurely loll under billowing clouds
Cherishing the quiet of another day spent
in knowing the blessings so abundantly sent
that wrap me in know of true friends in song
never leaving my heart-thoughts for very long

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

Galpal, I was transformed back to a young girl living in Rhode Island and escaping to a meadow by our house. Then transported to a field in New Hampshire where wildflowers grew and the sun shone brightly and the breeze was cooling.

A time of peace and tranquility. A gift of remembrance sent on the wind by a dear lady from the south.

Huggles ....

Thanking you all so very much~

Just stepped outside after dinner, for a sip of fresh air, and this one came rushing from the meadow.

Fell in adorn to the page in less time than it takes to eat a whole bag of Gummi Bears~
(and I'm a Gummi-Bear-aholic ... so that takes three minutes !)

I LOVE it when happens that way !
Meant to be ... meant to be~

And MartiLove~
You are a treasure on the winds-of-friendship~

*Huglets* to all~
