to quote vaguely from "Almost Famous":

" . . . and when you feel sad all you have to do is go to the nearest record store and visit all of your friends . . ."

There is nothing like melding with music . . . nearly nothing

Good for you Raph

The nearly is great but without the music...I would be half a person at best..

Some music just has that way, where no matter your situation, the music takes over. I love the title salvation by headphones. It is all too true.

When music resonates in the bones, it could erase the sound of your heart's music.
But we find that sometimes we don't want to listen and deafen ourselves with pounding rhythms. I am doing this too. Most of the time music inspires me, but sometimes I let it shut out problems, just that.

my headphones are battered, dunno quite how they managed to get so damaged, perhaps when i fling them accross the room after ANOTHER song has made me cry.

loved the title, its true, its like a form of intimacy with the music isnt it, specially when sitting in the dark, nothing to see, unaware of noise that may be metres away...pah..i'm rambling.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

Earphones show you naked sound, Godiva for the ears...and if you look at her too directly for too long, she may leave you blind.....
