*** FYI people - this is no longer me. You can call it a pass reflection.***

Sick

Sipping on tyrannical lemonade
One can look at me and see nothing
These eyes are turned inside out
Want to take a field trip - to a land called ME
And I find it agreeable - walking down a depressing dream
Have laundry to do - my soul's too dirty
And I like to scream - into a jealous pillow
Want to pray in church - my brain is tired again
Now I'm done with this poem
More pills please

I have only my genius to declare!

Monica, nice image with "jealous pillow".  At first I was unsure if it was *coughcough* sickness, or one of a more dreary kind... the soul kind.  However, those two kind of go hand in hand sometimes.  Good twist at the end with "more pills please"--it ends the questioning.

Thank you for this,

--Matt

"Have laundry to do - my soul's too dirty"

Glad it's not you now.

Raw, and a total show of emotion.

Great write.
