Where in all microcosm of his nothing
expands a record of blindness so near?
He yields to your mind, your will,
if such recalls a better year.
Or else, some particle buried so deep
revived, it would cast a light to see
by circles, streams for play and ease
        the joy of unlearned lessons.

If in silence, he has neglected
just one who listens, know this
        the planet crawls along
        reflecting painful course
        shaded in layers and gears.
        Hell arrives in strata,
and heaven reels in rolling years.
