As the hours wear on late into the night, I hold you close while laying next to you. So many worries So many problems So much trying to keep me from laying next to you. All disappear Like a cloud above an overpass while laying next to you. My mind becomes clear. My heart beats harder but calmer laying next to you. I feel how much I love you with my arms around you, laying next to you. I feel tired but I dare not sleep. For when time together is scarce, I dare not waste a minute. So here I lay so here I wish to stay lying in your arms Laying...next to you. If it weren't for my horse... |

I feel tired but I dare not sleep. For when time together is scarce, I dare not waste a minute. I know how this feels... I've been struggling with it myself, but time eventually will come. Very nice poem, thank you. .Echo. |

I loved this poem as few people who experience these feelings can make that transition to cherishing what they have laying right next to them.Its a matter of cherishing what blessings you do have. Good write - look forward to more |
