The gypsy still dances still sways to her own special beat Her hair flowing wild in her green eyes a challenge to meet The fire is burning but hotter within then without One look from those eyes leaves the watcher no reason to doubt… It’s said that her green eyes show nothing but gypsy-lust greed But those she has loved find them full of her passionate need And time can’t deny her a spirit that feeds on the night Her dance is her own and for her it is nothing but right… The music is playing but still she is dancing alone There’s nary a gypsy King waiting to make her his home Until she meets eyes that can hold in a spell of entrancing This gypsy girl-woman will move to her music Still dancing… Accept these small gifts from my gypsy heart ~~S~~ [This message has been edited by Sunnyone (07-31-2003 08:30 AM).] |

Sunny, this reminds me of some of the first of your poems I read. I love the gypsy in you. She lives here inside me too, though she is indeed stifled lately. Sandra |
