~*~ I have been baptized into the Anglican, Evangelical, and Catholic churches. Gradually, over the years, my own unique belief system has evolved. I now walk a Spiritual, rather than Religious, Path, and I feel as though I have come home. There is a tremendous sense of wholeness, comfort and joy with this new way of living. I no longer fear death ~ or life. I have a sense of inner peace, purpose and belonging. *+* I am not alone. I am loved. I am unique and I am special. I am a part of all Creation. ~ a part of all that was, all that is, and a part of all that will be. ~ I am me. |

Sue ~ With each trial and tribulation that I have endured--and overcome--I have grown stronger. With this strength has come an inner knowing of myself and that I am not ever alone. This has given me the inner peace that I am experiencing. I continue to learn from life's lessons and grow. There is a divine reason for everything. I step back and take a macrocosmic view of things when I get caught up in the minutia. I know everything in my life is going according to Divine Plan and in Divine Order. Not only is this definitely "you", but it is a great lesson for all of "us", and certainly speaks to being centered beautifully. I do believe I love this about the most of anything you have ever written here and that is saying something for this lovely piece. Yes, you are all of these things, and then some. |

I am going to be sending my mother the link to this poem... although she no longer posts here, I know that she will enjoy reading this.... as much as I did.... you and she have a great deal in common. I will agree with this.... religion is a crutch and a weight we cling to when we are afraid. The path of the spirit is much more brilliant and fulfilling, releasing. I enjoyed this.
