Alone
dark tower
a garden bower
The throne bequest
her desperate mess

The bride
she cries
adorned in black
cobwebs drown
her fate in fact

she whimpers softly,
"It's much too late."

The steed be strong!
muscles taut
delivering a knight
one whom has fought
battlescars and blood
adorn his suit
armor of steel
and velvet boot

Belfry BOOM
ding - dong
DOOM
a wedding march
she greets the groom

A step of toe
bought, borrowed and blue
wrought iron gate
resonates through
This knight, a man
on knee now bent
into her eyes
desire, intent

Removes his armor
to reveal one word
She gasps, her hand
falls from mouth
she heard

A beat within
long since been dead
locks of bun
fall from thy head
eyes are locked
in love at last!
This knight now stands
It has come to pass!

A single rose
adorned for Thee
unclasps his belt
a silken rope
His coat undone
his armor bare
upon his chest
her gaze does stare

For here reflected
His crest doth shine
stained glass deflected
two eyes in time
What may he bring?
This interlope?
Upon his chest
a glint of

H
O
