Do we stop and consider the purpose for life?
The x-rays our eyes take for a single mystery?
When our laughter is strangled by darkness?
We are passengers on a long train growing shorter & shorter
Flirting with minor surgery, floating down a stream doomed to perish
What we leave behind only learning understands
To the fragrant silence of fellowship permanently endowed
Levitating a miracle which we fail to see…life a blazing scholarship
Pocketing whatever happiness shoulders on our backs
Concentrated high spirits, wit and good sense with a passion for truth
Swift and deafening…like a summer storm of whispering raindrops
Counting the smallest objects that were lost…fearing chances for life
Visualizing a swelling caravan of your mind’s eager thoughts
Handfuls of swirls come like fresh flowers springing up to fill a void
Humming notes of true feelings…plump and rich, dense articulations
Of the human soul…passions like true North…perfectly selected tones
He was my true North, truth be known.
By some unknown force pulling together eras emerging soul food
A culture sealing memories of generations struggling through a night fog
Romancing lasting characteristics of the old adorning Casablanca
American needs to think deeply about marriage and the great meaning
Of commitment…reclaiming conventional wisdom…not wasting pages
While college woman write books on social changes
But concentrating on the primary sources of our tools integrating
What makes a woman successful, ultimately marriage and children
What is meant for human eyes is something essential when the curtain falls
Gradually finding all rewards are embracing one single point of view
Language makes the senses one…from deep down in the earth were things were once lost
There, in my right hand comes fresh fruit with a trembling lip
Still groggy from the last limp sleeve of hinges and nails
Rotating into dust….kissing me good-bye...like an infidelity
Past all modes of life…even through the pain finds a true chivalry
Where our flaws transcend…even to the lasting moments
Where life attends to love and be loved in the vitality of light and honest virtue

Why do some love only when it feels good?

That's when the unconditional love becomes necessary, Lee.

Why do some love only when it feels good?

Because people haven't seen the purpose of life...

“We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best that we can find in our travels is an honest friend.” –Robert Louis Stevenson
