there are no words
to a letter i cant send
my feelings are forbidden to speak
to make her sad
is untolerable

tears are running
down my cheeks
knowing my souls
match
is gone

an unripe watermelon
devoid of the sweet taste
i once held

I am lost
in my pain
for My woman
thinks
i stray
in the past

I cant speak
there is no resolve
once my turtle dove
has passed
beyond my reach

my soul lost in diction
that once was so easy
to express

Tears can be good...if not, I'm in trouble. I cry at the drop of a hat these days!

Wonderful write full of emotion and hopefully a drip of healing water!

I have to say you touched on this subject well and vividly.But as I've learned without a cry sometimes there shall be no release. Though this was sad it touched home. Thanks.

To express your pain is healing...poetry will help...it has many times for me. Your poem is was full of the tears you feel. Time is a healer and a teacher.
