Those are the objects that take life when you leave
reanimate
they are ones who sit quietly on the mantle piece
vegetate
and wait until you go out of The Room
migrate
when they can converse among themselves
litigate
and take possession of their domain
demonstrate

What might be in The Room
swept daily by a loyal broom?

It is as was ordained on the mount
that they follow their commandments
then descend, go forth and multiply
but you forgot when you decked your hearth
they would gingerly coerce behind your back...

which takes us back to the nature of objects
which has us pass through the rules of The Book
which causes us to see the house that Jack built
all in its original finerly,
laden with its usual trinkets
so that you can leave The Room
from time to time
fly away on master's broom
unaware that they would plot among themselves
in the company of wiley elves
re-establish their order in the material world
away from wigged company,
straight laced and curled...
among much else that doesn't really matter
cause the party had already started
cried the mad hatter.

What might occur in The Room?
swept daily by a loyal broom...

defined by what we see called object matter
made a fuss about by the mad hatter
It all happens when we leave The Room
a photographic lense turns to zoom
those objects discuss their reason
to stage what is part of a greater treason...
That is do they exist until the moment we leave
is the notion of their existence,
so labile that mortals could concieve
of their actual presence away from mortal view
or is their movement part and parcel of the human zoo?

What might reality be within those walls
an occurrence that grasps viewers and enthrals?
those are the same objects that sit patiently
and vegetate,
until you depart from that Room wherein...
they reanimate.

nicely done,,,,

A voice of honesty
   is treasured
more than voices
   of flattery
