Stretching embrace both in stature and breadth
Throwing cool shadow, shading birth to the death
Every year, after year, to be granted the same
Rings of wisdom continued, every species in fame

Both to rustle and riddle in the mind's imagery
From the floors of cool groves, to the lush canopy
Founding soil to grow, and fresh air to breathe
In a wisdom of souls, spirits mighty bequeath

Finding strength to absorb all the tears ever cried
Giving beauty abundant as discovered or eyed
In an ancient revival of timeless extent
In an ageless recital of wind swept content

Spread to the open of blue or of gray
Leaving in flower each sunny spring day
The protector it seems of the reasons and themes
Offered up introspection of all hopes and dreams

Reaching to skies so certain they stand
Glory so proud in a noble command
Grown from the earth as a sentinel bold
Limbs reaching heights that no man could hold

This flows so beautifully and sounds lovely read aloud.
