Circles

I don’t know about circles,
Concentric or not, no gold rings.
In my mind, or otherwise entwined.

I can’t say much about rings.
Circular and symbolic things.
Mine lie in my drawer, unworn.

I wonder about things.
Roundness and songs I sing.
The love we bring.

I lived my life in spring.
Birds on the wing, soaring.
Melodies on strings.

I am not the king.
I bring only the day.
Words that do not ring today.

This is the only prayer I bring..
A ring of words
A deeper thing.

wow...thats great!!!!! (am i allowed to do that????the bit? [No, you're not allowed to do that.  Edited by Sunshine] anyway, thats was a great piece man.

The only difference between the creative and the conformists is that the creative will not be conquered and the conformists already are.

um...no...not allowed to do the f bit, no

I think it states in the guidelines for posting, but besides that, it's just rude. I think the worst four letter word we've used around here is damn.

Awesome write here Owlpoet!

I beg to differ....You know much about many kinds of ring, as is shown by my own experience of you as a friend, and by the depth of what you've written here.

This ring of poets is blessed by such as you. Soooo....let's put this back at the top where it belongs!
