EMPTYNESS....

I have an emptyness inside me
I have an emptyness outside
I have an emptyness around me
I have an emptyness in my life

Where will the feeling take me
When will the feeling end
What will my life become
As I contemplate the next bend

Can you guide me towards the light
Can you guide me towards a friend
Can you guide me pure and simple
Can you make my emptyness end....

Your words have such an impact my friend. I send you sunshine and a smile, in the hope they help you find comfort. Take care!

That empty place has a way of being filled at the most unexpected times and in the most unexpected ways....hang on, and be prepared to HANG ON!

I like the way you use repetition to build dramatic tension -- a nice technique that's hard to do right.

The repetition works well here..

When I have experienced moments like that in my life, I just kept on saying over and over --like a mantra, "...and this too shall pass!" I swear that it has helped me.

Now, when difficult times are upon me, I just plow through the dark tunnels to the light at the end of them.

You were so effective at portraying feelings of emptiness, that I want to go give you a warm, loving hug and say, "Roniece, sweetheart,...and this too shall pass."

Loving hugs,
EA

emptyness, a common link
between us all, I often think
and I myself, oft fill this void
at the same time, I fill my drink

I as well can relate. Emptyness i think, is definetly on my top ten list of things most despised. its feelings like that that drive me to fight  and to find the flames.

The only difference between the creative and the conformists is that the creative will not be conquered and the conformists already are.
