Strange

Strange has held my hand since youth
The truth and nothing but the truth
Cutting the umbilical chord
Has given me little reward.

Where once I lived a world of safe
I now but live a world of waif
Carried by a genesis tide
Into a world I can’t abide.

It offers me a one-way path
Without oasis or a bath
And symbols that I’ve learned to read
Are twisted in a world of greed.

And though I reach for butterflies
Warming tides and golden skies
I walk upon a naked beach
Watching waves that drain and leach.

And though they wash my stand in rhyme
They undercut the sand in time.

Wonderful rhyme here Sy!
I know it's early in the morning
and I haven't had my tea as yet...hoping you will join me..
But, at first my eyes saw..'I walk naked upon the beach'!
Better you come sit and have tea with me while I get my bearings.
~Morning hugs, Nancy~

dancing with you in the summer rain~

Well, strange must be another word for brilliant & way cool cuz this poem sure is...
all I can do is shake me mothy head and smile when reading lines like above.
Not even the ocean can wash away your rhymes divine Sy-babers...they are written gold and stand the test of time.
Now tell Randy to be careful that he dont get sunburned or sand in places he dont want it when naked on the beach

(smiles) You'd be suprised at how once you get to know the strange, suddenly what's most real feels far less real! (big hugggsssssss) I think it is a blessing to be accustomed to the strange and get to understand the whole world much better, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Hi Sy, well, there's a whole lotta naked hugs and kisses going on here, but I'd like to say this had a "sad aching" when I read it, and I LOVE it! I could really FEEL this, and I know where you're coming from. (If you wrote this from your heart, which most of us do.) Anyway, nothing wrong with being naked for sure! This was just completely "sadly beautiful" and it really touched me. GREAT piece sir!
