Dark clouds appeared so quickly
As lightning punctuated the sky
The seagulls looked for shelter
Upon the clifftop way up high

I found shelter from the storm
Within your warm embrace
So lost in love was I
As I gazed up at your face

In the blue and yellow boatshed
We watched the waves lash the shore
As we struggled to be heard
Above the ocean's mighty roar

We stayed safe undercover
Until the clouds moved away
Then the skies began to clear
The sun brightening up our day

The waves lapped our feet
As we stood upon the shore
And with the power of your love
You reeled me in once more

* * *

"The best and most beautiful
things in the world
cannot be seen
or even touched.
They must be felt with the heart."

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Suetang, isn't it eerie that we did this, about two hours apart!   My poem is sad and your poem helps us recover.  I think we should keep them together!  Kahlil

Sue, this is about as comfy, cozy, lovey, dovey, snuggly as anyone can get. Phew!

Love the picture ... Marti
