Awakened By My Muse Write whats on my mind Pen feelings in my heart Where do poems begin Pondering where to start We write beyond sorrow Pen the emotional pain Dreams are kept alive So words will flow again Rainbow arching the sky Or a kite on a windy day Scenes the poet views In pondering what to say Romance and passion On a starry , starry night Love songs serenade Muscian and poet unite Awakened by my muse In the sweetest caress The poetry of my heart Words lovingly express Hope ©2003 |
